RULES & GUIDELINES
Last Modified: January 15th, 2019
The regulations may be revised at any time.
In the case of any changes thereof, the Organizer will notify participating teams.
All players participating in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG Mobile) competitions must register their PUBG Mobile game ID with the Organizer. The game account is required to invite players into custom matches, and to verify that the correct player is participating in each match. In order to participate in tournaments and ladders hosted by Omlet Arcade, you must additionally meet the following requirements:
You must be at least 13 years of age
You must have an active PUBG Mobile account in good standing
You are only permitted to sign up for the OPP or OPC League Qualifiers. Players who are not selected for the OPP Leagues may be automatically placed in the OPC Leagues.
Only players from North America are able to register at this time. Select teams from other regions may be invited to apply at Omlet Arcade’s discretion.
If you fail to meet any of the aforementioned requirements, you will be deemed ineligible for the competition.
Sign-ups will be closed for all qualifiers one week before the qualifiers begin. If your team has not signed up before this time, you will be unable to participate. Please note that your team will also be required to check in to the qualifier itself one hour before the tournament begins.
Team and Player Name
Omlet Arcade reserves the right to modify team names, nicknames and/or aliases at any time. If a team name has been wrongly seized, please contact Omlet Arcade with proof of ownership of the name.
We reserve the right to modify team names, nicknames and/or aliases if they fail to comply with the following requirements:
The name is protected by third-party rights and the user does not have written permission for its use
The name resembles or is identical to a registered or unregistered brand or trademark
The name resembles or is identical to a real person other than the player or team themselves
The name resembles or is identical to that of another team or player in the competition
The name is nonsense
In addition to the above, any nicknames/team names/aliases that are purely commercial (e.g. product names), defamatory, pejorative, offensive, vulgar, obscene, anti-Semitic, hatred inciting, or offending against good manners are forbidden. Using alternative or incorrect spelling in order to avoid the aforementioned requirements is prohibited. We reserve the right to modify these rules at any time if necessary.
Only registered team members are permitted to play for a team. Playing in any matches with a ringer is prohibited. Players and teams must compete under their officially registered PUBG Mobile team names and nicknames during all official matches.
A team may change its name upon approval from Omlet Arcade. Name changes must be requested at least 48 hours before the start of a League. This also applies if a team is restructured. Changing a team’s name in order to fool other teams is forbidden.
Team rosters must consist of 4 players and up to 2 substitute players for a maximum of 6 players. Teams are only allowed to play with players on their roster. All roster changes must be requested and approved prior to the start of a League. Playing with unregistered players and/or ringers will result in penalties.
A team must consist of 4 players to compete in any game. Each team may play at most one game as 3 players as long as the team can guarantee the 4th will join for all subsequent games. Teams with fewer than 3 players who have exceeded their one game allowance will be required to sit out of all future games until their 4th player returns. This rule does not apply if a mid-game disconnection occurs.
The roster must consist of half of the players if the registered leader is included or three-fourths of the roster if registered leader is not included (rounding up with substitute players) from the original roster during the qualifiers. If changes to the roster are necessary, the team must receive approval from Omlet Arcade. Changes to the team roster must be requested during the qualifying round or before the championships. Under no circumstances will changes to roster be allowed during the championship round.
All players must install the newest version of the PUBG Mobile game to participate in Omlet Arcade PUBGM tournaments. Updates and maps must be installed before the tournament begins to minimize delays.
Teams are responsible for their own technical issues (hardware/internet). Matches will not be rescheduled due to personal or team technical issues.
In the case of problems influencing a significant number of players, a replay of the map may be called via the tournament's support channels on Discord.
Each lobby will consist of at most 20 teams. The last round of relegations for the Omlet Arcade PUBGM Championships will consist of 40 teams: 20 OPP teams and 20 OPC teams.
Omlet Arcade reserves the right to disqualify teams at any time for any reason. Reasons for disqualification may include, but are not limited to:
Purposefully stalling or attempting to prevent the tournament from starting.
Usage of 3rd party programs that enhance, add, modify, or remove game appearance, color, or files.
Intentionally changing your character's angle to look through a texture or object.
The intentional use of any bugs, glitches, or errors in the game. Any team found to be using any known exploit will forfeit their game upon the first occurrence of the infraction. If the team is found to purposely use an exploit for a second time, they will be removed from the event and barred from any future events.
Betting during any Omlet Arcade event (by a player, team, or on behalf of anyone associated with the team). Those partaking will be disqualified from the event in and will receive a minimum of a 6 month ban from future Omlet events.
